What The Salvation Army Believes >

Transitional Kindergarten* through 5th Grade

*Transitional Kindergarten students must be a minimum of 5 years of age. Preference is given to current After School Program TK students.

TK - 5th Grade Info Sheet

Your student will read/write, learn mathematics, explore the sciences in the morning and participate in various hands-on workshops in the afternoon. Additionally, students will be able to attend 1 half day field trip on Thursdays and one all-day field trip on Fridays.

No Camp on June 19, July 4, and July 5

6th Grade Info Sheet

Students will have the opportunity to end the summer presenting their food truck business, in preparation they will participate in various STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) to gain the skills necessary to execute their plan.

  • After Care There is no After Care, students are allowed to go to our Teen Drop - In Center from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Discovery Camp is a 6-day camp designed for campers between the ages of 8 to 12. They offer a variety of experiences, including swimming, arts and crafts, archery, slingshots, campouts, campfires, hiking, outdoor education, cabin activities, chapel time, devotions, and much more. Through this camp experience campers will have the opportunity to discover the depths of God's love for them and the wonder of His creation.


About Camp Redwood Glen
Camp Redwood Glen is located in the beautiful Redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The camp is situated 9 miles north of Santa Cruz, off Highway 17. Founded in 1946, Camp Redwood Glen shares in the long history of Salvation Army camping, providing a safe environment for campers to escape from everyday pressure and stress, to have fun, learn new skills and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
