When you make a gift—money, time, or energy—to The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, you become a part of the largest project ever undertaken by The Salvation Army. Your gift becomes grounded in the reputation, trust and credibility of The Salvation Army—which is well known for its continuing efforts of providing relief to those in need.
Every life deserves to shine. No one in need is turned away from the life-changing opportunities at The Kroc Center through our Membership Scholarship Program. With many of our families earning below the state of California's poverty line, this program is vital to many who enter our doors on a regular basis.
DONATE TO KROC MEMBERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS
Students in grades K-5 receive homework help and a healthy snack. Kroc Center students participate in exciting activities such as soccer, computer classes, science experiments, art projects, swimming lessons, and fun recreation times throughout the Kroc Center. Donations help to fund the overall cost of the program since we do not pass the full cost of the program onto families.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
What kids take home from our camps won't fit in a backpack. Our day camps provide everything a child needs to make great memories and learn that no matter what happens in life, they are cared for. Donations make it possible to send kids to camp who couldn't otherwise afford it.

Volunteering is one of the most enjoyable things you'll ever do; not to mention, one of the most fulfilling. To keep all of our guests safe in our facility, Kroc Center volunteers are held to the same standards as our employees including application, background check, Child Safety training, and orientation.
Becoming a volunteer is easy–start by filling out this form with your interests. Staff will provide volunteer assignment details and any additional training to all active volunteers, as necessary. Please note, the intake process can take up to one month. All applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Please fill out this form and we will contact you to schedule an interview with the volunteer department.
Help keep kids on track in school! We need tutors for students in grades K-5 for all subjects including writing skills, reading, math and science. Tutoring hours are Monday–Friday, 3–7PM.
Inspire leaders in our Middle School Program! Through workshops and enrichments, students will learn to be successful in their academics, problem solving skills, and involvement in their community. The program hours are Mondays from 4pm-7:30pm.
SENIOR ACTIVITIES VOLUNTEER
Come volunteer and create a fun, social, and recreational environment for the Senior Nutrition & Activities Program. Serve meals, play bingo, sing karaoke, and meet both seniors and veterans in the community. Program runs Monday through Friday from 9:30am-12:30pm.
