Art & Music Programs

Immersing your child in the arts is a great way to lead a more fulfilling and enriching life. Whether it’s learning to play an instrument or read music, there is a place to develop your talent and pursue your dreams here at The Kroc Center.

The Kroc Center Strings Program is available for students ages 5-17. We offer both beginner and intermediate classes on Violin and Cello. Viola lessons are available by request only for experienced players. Our students are taught by highly qualified instructors using the Strictly Strings curriculum. Students start with learning proper bow technique and elementary music theory and move on to ensemble work.  There are several performance opportunities available for our students every year including a Winter and a Spring Concert.  Classes are on Monday and Wednesday evenings, Beginners at 4:15pm - 5:00pm and Intermediate/Advanced from 5:15pm - 6:00pm.

The Children's Strings Program is set to resume in the 2017-2018 academic year starting on January 29th. Details to follow.

Children’s Troops Programs

The Salvation Army's goal is to give young people a safe community in which to grow and prosper. In The Salvation Army Kroc Center's character-building troop program, children build valuable skills that they will use throughout their lives.  These programs are a holistic Christian education experience.  The goals are to build positive social and communication habits, decision making and life skills, and build character and leadership skills through a biblical world view by encouraging: a sense of personal identity and character; Christian values and Biblical principles; and physical mental, spiritual, and social development.
